Raffaele Vesco, a native of Treviso, Italy, has traveled many roads (including one to Rome) on his way to becoming a director. After graduating law school from the University of Bologna, Raffi realized his true passion was for film so he moved to Rome, the capital of Italian cinema, where he started working on various professional sets in the Italian TV and film industry. In 2010, a film he collaborated on premiered at the SF Film Festival. It was after that experience that he decided to take the leap of faith and move to Hollywood.

Since then Raffi has worked as a Digital Imaging Technician on feature films, TV series and commercials. He has had the opportunity to work alongside and cultivate knowledge and techniques from some of the most acclaimed filmmakers at the top of their fields. He is a member of the International Cinematographers Guild, and has worked on projects including Jennifer Lopez's 'Hustlers', 'The Lincoln Lawyer', and 'Insecure'. All the while, he continued to produce and direct original projects.

His first film, 'Barber School', premiered in 2022 and won Best Director at the LA Shorts Festival. That same year his film, Worst Case Scenario, earned numerous selections and awards at over 20 festivals worldwide, including Best Director and Best Comedy.

His most recent film, 'The Lot', which he co-wrote, is a metaphor of his own life. Having to work a demanding day job, which he's pretty damn good at, while chasing his dream of working as a filmmaker and director.

Raffi's journey from law school to filmmaker is a testament to his love of cinema, and how he'll never stop pursuing the dream. He's a true collaborator and brings a distinct cinematic vision to any project. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to partner up!
